A 65-year-old male patient is brought to the emergency department by his family after suddenly experiencing the onset of visual disturbances. The patient reports seeing flashing lights and a dark curtain covering half of his visual field in both eyes. He also mentions feeling dizzy and unsteady on his feet. On examination, the patient has difficulty identifying objects in the half of his visual field. His speech is unaffected, and he is alert and oriented. The patient’s CT angiography confirmed an occlusion to the posterior cerebral artery.
