A 28-year-old woman is brought to the emergency department by her friend after experiencing a seizure at work. Her friend reports that she was talking normally when she suddenly stopped mid-sentence, her eyes rolled back, and she collapsed to the ground. She then began to have jerking movements and muscle tensing involving her arms and legs that lasted for approximately two minutes. During this time, she was unresponsive, and her breathing appeared irregular. After the jerking stopped, she remained unconscious for a few minutes and then gradually regained consciousness, appearing confused and disoriented.
