A 78-year-old male presents to the emergency department after being found on the floor of his living room by his neighbour. He reports feeling lightheaded when he stands up from his armchair and does not remember the moment of the fall. He landed on his left side and hit his head on a coffee table. There was no loss of consciousness initially, but over the past few hours, he has developed a severe headache and increasing confusion. His past medical history includes hypertension, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), and type 2 diabetes mellitus. He was recently started on tamsulosin and oxybutynin for BPH and amlodipine for hypertension. His medications also include metformin and atorvastatin.
